It's been years since I spent a summer in Vienna; always on the road... But I've heard it's the only time when the city feels calm and quiet. It's just baking hot, and half of the residents of Vienna are off for vacations.
I guess most of the cities have this period, and it's the best time to live there.

Taken on a 4x5 Graflex with the lens tilted (that makes the funny mini-effect). Shot on Kodak EPP, cross-processed.
