Happy New Year! and why I'm happy with STEEM

2018 opened the flood-gates for doubts and FUDs.
Even though a tough year, I think it did a lot of good:

-Make steem less interesting for greedy speculations
-Make steem decentralize
-Make the voice of the community stronger
-Make the voices calling for a leader disappear
-Make steem cheap to buy
All in all: Make steem a much more exciting rollercoaster!

Thanks to the steemians who I've met and remembered, like @vander, @tonyz, @cave-man, @nikokafka, @rossfletcher, @worldcapture, @c0ff33a, @latinski, @dragosroua, @derangedvisions, @tattoodjay, and all I forgot...

Thanks for the overly generous votes from @nikokafka, @dcommerce, @dtube, @c-squared, @curie, @photomag, @irreverent-dan, @prinzvalium, @sndbox, @oliverschmid and many more!

Thanks for fighting for steem to @steemflagrewards, @pennsif, @therealwolf, @exyle, @taskmaster4450, @dstors, and this is a very incomplete list!

And finally big cheerz to @steempeak for this great UI, plus all the other projects developing dApps!

And now I'll go and buy more steem! Or should I still wait a bit?
