Mural on the Coast of Georgia, in the middle of the Russian-Georgian War in 2008

I arrived in Georgia on the day Russia declared war. This had surprisingly little effect on me travelling the country in my bus. And for sure, no matter what's the situation, I wanted to leave some work. So I started looking for nice walls, and found one on a former public toilet, nicely set on a beach facing the Black Sea.

I coated the wall with light sensitiv emulsion, exposed the b/w negs using my
large format camera as a projector, and sprayed the chemistry for developing
and fixing, plus a lot of water onto it.

24h later, admiring the result:
It turned out pretty rough; but what would you expect in the middle of a war?
