Working with large cameras can be such a treat; this is what I see when looking through my camera.
There are two things that make large format photography special for me: The huge (8x10 "/ 20 x 25cm) picture on the ground glass, and the minimal depth of field that is great for portrait works like this. Besides this, it produces stunning detail (with the right film, lens and scan it equals more than 4000 Megapixels!!), and it adds a very healthy slowness to the photographic process.
